Retro pre 71 style mufflers for
1971 and later models.
These mufflers fit 1 1/2 inch OD head pipes which are stock on 1971 and 1972 models. 1973 and later bikes with stock 1 3/8 inch headers require reducer sleeves part # 81-8005 These mufflers have a welded channel bracket and can be mounted using flat straps. nipple has a diameter of 8.5-9mm (.34 inch.) 1971-72 models came
with aluminum or steel levers. The holes sizes are different so measure them
before ordering.
